Lost Property
You will find a summary below of how St Clere's deals with lost property. We appreciate that replacing lost items can be expensive, so hopefully this guidance can help.
Should your child unfortunately lose something, they should:
- Retrace their steps, including the last place they were and the classrooms they've been in that day.
- Should the item(s) not be found, please ask your child to visit the Reprographics Department, where lost property is stored.
- If the item has not been found, please complete the form below and we will do our utmost to reunite the property to its rightful owner.
Lost property that is not labelled and is unclaimed will be kept for a full term, after which it will be recycled locally, donated to a local charity or reused by pupils at St Clere's.
Please be aware that St Clere's has over 1350 students, therefore if an item is not labelled it is very difficult to locate the owner. Therefore, please name all items or clothing wherever possible.
Please be mindful of sending any expensive items into the school.
If you child has lost any items whilst in a PE lesson/changing room/Sports Hall/Pavilion the items may still be in those locations in the short term then will be moved to Reprographics.
We hope you find this information useful and thank you for your cooperation.
Found Items - if a pupil has an item which is not theirs, please submit details below.
All logs are coordinated by Reprographics. Pupils or parents will be notified if property is found or a possible match to the property. If you or your child hasn't had a notification, then the said property has not been located. We will do our best to reunite all lost property.
